Welcome to St. John's Indian Orthodox Church of Delaware Valley, a vibrant sanctuary of faith, fellowship, and timeless Orthodox tradition. Located at 4400 State Road in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, our parish has been proudly serving families across Delaware Valley and Greater Philadelphia regions since November 2006.
Our community is deeply rooted in the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, carrying forward the ancient apostolic faith established in India by St. Thomas the Apostle in 52 AD. Whether you are looking for a spiritual home, seeking to explore your faith, or wanting to connect with a welcoming community, we invite you to experience the rich liturgy and warmth of our parish.

Welcome to St. John’s Indian Orthodox Church, a spiritual home where faith, fellowship, and healing come together. We are blessed to journey as one family, supporting one another and growing in the grace of our Lord. Like Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the Temple, we ask God to hear every prayer offered in this holy place - prayers of joy, burden, hope, and thanksgiving - and to respond with His mercy and peace.
May all who enter our church find comfort for the weary, strength for the struggling, and renewal for the soul. As we worship together, may Christ’s love bind us as a community and guide us in every step.
